The President’s Club increases the number of people I know and the contacts I make throughout the community.”Dave Johnson, merchant advocate, TSYS Merchant Solutions; President’s Club volunteer; 15-year member of the Chairman’s Circle

I have my boss to thank. He suggested I join the President’s Club as a way to get more involved in the community. More than a decade later, I’m still energized by my involvement, enjoying the camaraderie, the challenge and the sense of accomplishment, including 15 years in the Chairman’s Circle. Achieving that honor is a goal I set for myself every year. (Yes, I absolutely have a competitive streak – and so do my fellow PCers. The friendly competition and encouragement makes it fun.)

PC involvement is one of those “complete packages,” a way to impact the Chamber and the community – and gain some personal benefit. I believe volunteering helps me in my career as a merchant advocate for TSYS Merchant Solutions. The President’s Club increases the number of people I know and the contacts I make throughout the community. If you’re thinking of getting involved – a great way to sharpen your sales skills and develop those new connections – I say give it a shot. To my boss, I say thanks for the suggestion.
