The Greater Omaha Chamber works for you – and because of you!
If you’re looking for an impactful way to strengthen our Chamber and elevate our community, consider joining our legion of more than 1,000 volunteers – all of them donating time and talent to more than 60 Chamber councils, committees and projects.
Active engagement by our members propels us and helps us accomplish our mission.
Have you ever described your biggest weakness as being “too passionate,” “too engaged” or “too into building relationships?” Welcome to the Engagement Council. In this group, volunteers work with new Chamber members, helping them navigate benefits and services provided, and encourage participation in programs and events to foster growth and prosperity. Monthly meetings and ongoing education allow you to thrive in this role through first-hand experience leveraging the benefits of your own membership.
Your next step? Contact Melinda Sorensen.
Help us celebrate new beginnings and forward progress in our business community by representing the Chamber at various ribbon-cutting events. Support the success of others, cheer loudly and have fun – that’s the job description.

Our year-round, elite group of sales volunteers who are accountable for the retention and acquisition of Chamber members also earn rewards and recognition. Participation provides access to a seasoned group of sales professionals, continual “on-the-job” practice and leadership opportunities. Each PC member is expected to bring in a minimum of $5,000 annually by selling at least six new members and working renewals.
