The City of Council Bluffs, Advance Southwest Iowa Corporation and Tippmann Group have worked together to bring IceCap Cold Storage to our partners in Council Bluffs. This state-of-the-art cold storage facility is the first in the city and brought 150+ jobs to the Greater Omaha area.
Paula Hazlewood, CEO of Advance Southwest Iowa, highlighted the variety of services offered at the new IceCap facility, including blast freezing and multi-temperature warehousing. Other features include 18,750,000 cubic feet of cold storage, connection to the Union Pacific railyard, and export services in their 487,000 sq. ft. facility.
