Omaha, Neb., July 22, 2020 – Greater Omaha Chamber President and CEO David G. Brown responded to today’s Nebraska Legislative debate on economic incentives with the following statement:
“Today was a good first discussion of issues we know many Nebraskans recognize as in dire need of positive resolution. From the start, we have listened to the community, to business leaders and to our elected officials to ensure the ImagiNE Nebraska Act, LB 720, reflects the best interests of Nebraska and allows the state to stay on the leading edge economically. There has never been a more pivotal time for our Legislature to take a step in the right direction for all. We are counting on our senators, and continue to champion for our people, because they are counting on us,” said David G. Brown, president and CEO, Greater Omaha Chamber.
