Nebraska Community Blood Bank did B-2-B with us last August – and turned it into a truly B-Positive experience.
“We’ve been expanding our mobile operations in the Omaha market and thought it was great opportunity to meet lots of people,” says donor recruitment representative Kari Lundeen.
The Nebraska Community Blood Bank team engaged the crowd by “blood typing” attendees.
“It was a great way to have one-on-one conversations about the importance of blood donations,” Lundeen says. “We blood typed and were positioned next to the bar. It was quite comical to have people typed while they were waiting for their drinks.”
Lundeen says the event helped raise awareness about Nebraska Community Blood Bank, and it was a good time: “Not your normal vendor fair. The atmosphere was engaging. People coming through were in great spirits and seemed to really enjoy it.”
