Council Bluffs, IA, June 11, 2018 — A potential $12.8M, 211,000 square-foot expansion that may create as many as 40 new jobs in Council Bluffs was announced today. Warren Distribution proposes expanding its Council Bluffs River Road warehouse/distribution site to facilitate growing manufacturing and packaging needs of its worldwide operations, pending funding approval by Iowa Economic Development Authority and the City of Council Bluffs.

Headquartered in Omaha, and with additional facilities in Glen Dale, West Virginia, Houston, Texas and Shadyside, Ohio, Warren has had a Council Bluffs presence, including a more than 15-acre, 165,000 square-foot distribution center, since the 1970s.

Schlott, grandson of corporate founder James Schlott, said the company anticipates breaking ground on the proposed project in Summer 2018.
