OMAHA, NE — Advance Services, Inc., a staffing agency headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, is celebrating 25 years of providing clients with the most qualified employees available.
Paul Sandall and his wife Gretchen founded Advance Services with just one office in Norfolk, Nebraska in 1994. Today, Advance Services does business in 43 states, from California to Florida, and in Puerto Rico.
Last year, the company mailed 28,000 W-2 forms to employees. Sandall credits Advance Services’ success with sticking to its founding mission: Treating people well.
“It’s a paraphrase of the Golden Rule: Treat others how you would like to be treated,” Sandall said. “The relationship has always been the most important thing for us — both with companies looking for employees, and people looking for jobs. That’s why we have so many repeat customers.”
The past 25 years have brought ups and downs in both the economy and the unemployment rate; but, according to Sandall, Advance Services always strives to be at the forefront of change and views everything as opportunity.
“Our job is to coordinate the beginnings and ends of assignments and make sure that employee has continued employment, and ensure our customers have the quality and quantity of employees they need.
It’s like an orchestrated dance.” And the dance will continue: Advance Services is not finished growing. “We will continue to expand,” Sandall said. “We have the strongest foundation we’ve ever had, and our greatest accomplishments are yet to come.”
