Omaha, Neb., October 19, 2020 – Citing “a low cost of living (even when compared to its Midwestern neighbors),” Zippia recently named Omaha a “Top 10 Place to Live and Work in 2020.”

A career-research firm that creates analytics and rankings designed to help job-seekers choose opportunities for professional growth and potential relocation, Zippia’s analysts “examined major and mid-sized cities to find the best cities to live and work in the US in 2020.”

Omaha cracked the top 10 as “home” to the Silicon Prairie, as well as exhibiting a “strong, growing economy.” Zippia further praised the region for revitalization of the riverfront and Gene Leahy mall, calling the upscaling of the urban area a “dramatic transformation.”
