By Jill Bruckner, Communications/Public Relations Manager

From the moment you pop open your peepers each morning, it’s “today.” No one rises and shines to yesterday (and, Majestic Members, if we master that phenomenon, we’re taking that show on the road).

The extraordinary phenomenon about each of you, however, is the resilient, reticular, remarkable ability you have to make every “today” better than the day before, while concurrently inventing the future: You’re looking ahead while living the moment. Case in point: Redevelopment our region is realizing right now.

These past three weeks you represented as the No. 9 Best State for Retirees, according to USA Today, saw the Chamber’s Startup Collaborative parlay partnerships and fellowships into a No. 3 Best Midwest City for Fashion Startups and cheered Omaha-Council Bluffs as the No. 6 Most Vibrant Arts, Medium Communities.

That’s right, Magnificent Members, from arts to smarts – and also sharks – we have it all. In fact, the July 19 Storm Chasers’ game included a shark-finned friend you just may have recognized.

Now, whether you plan to take on the Ninja Turtles at the Omaha Children’s Museum this week, or are prepping for Tuesday’s All Chamber’s Together After Hours, know that you are the epitome of excellence, the impetus for ideation and the culmination of creativity. You’re awesome – not just today, but every day you wake up, put your feet on the floor and celebrate being part of something sensational, something we call The Greater Omaha Chamber.

Go get ‘em, Chamber Members!
