Greater Omaha Chamber Issues Statement on

Mayor John W. Ewing, Jr.’s State of the City Address

Omaha, NE — Heath Mello, President & CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber, released the following statement on Mayor John W. Ewing, Jr.’s State of the City Address, delivered today:

“Mayor Ewing’s message was clear: Omaha is in a position of strength, and the opportunity in front of us is significant,” said Heath Mello, President & CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber. “We share his focus on economic development and the importance of retaining and growing our businesses while attracting new talent and investment to our region. His support for LB 1165 is especially important and timely as it is currently being considered by the legislature. This critical bill advances primary job growth, childcare support investment expansion, and signals that Nebraska is open for business.
