Greater Omaha Chamber Brings U.S. Chamber and Google-Supported
Digital Training Initiative to Small Businesses

Omaha, NE — The Greater Omaha Chamber is launching Digital Boost, a new technology and digital business initiative designed to help small and emerging businesses strengthen operations, adopt digital tools, and compete in today’s economy.

Digital Boost will offer workshops, technology training, one-on-one business consultations, and practical resources that help entrepreneurs improve efficiency, expand their online presence, and integrate technology into their day-to-day operations.

The first initiative under Digital Boost will launch on July 30, 2026, through the national Small Business B(AI)sics program from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, with support from Google. The national initiative aims to equip 40,000 small businesses over the next three years with practical artificial intelligence skills, digital learning resources, and in-person training opportunities.

The inaugural Small Business B(AI)sics workshops will provide free, hands-on AI training designed to help small businesses grow, remain competitive, and strengthen local economies. Participants will learn practical ways to apply artificial intelligence to real business challenges, including improving marketing and customer engagement, streamlining operations, increasing workflow efficiency, and enhancing productivity and decision-making.

“We are grateful to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Google for investing in small businesses and trusting the Greater Omaha Chamber to bring this national resource to Greater Omaha,” said Heath Mello, President and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber. “Digital transformation is no longer optional for entrepreneurs who want to compete, grow, and reach new customers. Through Digital Boost, we are connecting local businesses to practical AI, e-commerce, and technology training that can immediately strengthen their operations. This partnership reflects what chambers do best: bring organizations together to expand opportunity and help businesses thrive.”

“Digital Boost is designed to meet small and emerging businesses where they are and give them practical tools they can put to work right away,” said Alejandra Jimenez, Director of Small and Emerging Business Development for the Greater Omaha Chamber. “Our goal is to help entrepreneurs build confidence with technology, earn meaningful credentials, and use digital tools to improve efficiency, strengthen decision-making, and support long-term growth.”

Digital Boost will continue to expand through future workshops, training opportunities, and strategic partnerships that help small businesses build digital skills, explore emerging technologies, and adopt tools that support long-term growth and competitiveness.

Registration information for the July 30 launch and future Digital Boost programming will be announced by the Greater Omaha Chamber.
