OMAHA, Neb., Oct. 19, 2017 – The Greater Omaha Chamber and its 2018 Board Nominating Committee is announcing the slate for the 2018 Greater Omaha Chamber Board of Directors.

Members of the Chamber Board, who are nominated to serve, invest their time and expertise to support the Chamber, its members and mission: to champion a thriving business community and a prosperous region through visionary leadership and collaboration. 

Slate of 2018 Chamber Board:

Executive Committee

Dana Bradford, chairman and CEO of Waitt Brands, will serve as chairman.

Lance Fritz, chairman of Union Pacific, will serve as chairman-elect.

Leslie Andersen, president of Bank of Bennington, will serve as immediate-past chairman.

Terry Kroeger, president and CEO of BH Media Group, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. and Publisher of the Omaha World-Herald, will serve as secretary.

Steve Grandfield, president and COO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska, will serve at treasurer.

According to the bylaws of the Greater Omaha Chamber, any additional nominations may be made by any active Chamber member in good standing by presenting a petition for nomination signed by at least 30 active members in good standing. Such petitions must be delivered to the nominating committee within 10 days after the date of announcement of the nominees by the nominating committee.

The current Chamber Board will vote to approve the slate, as presented by the nominating committee, on Friday, Nov. 17.
