Change Maker Nominations

Each year, we honor individuals who are creating positive, innovative and meaningful change in our community and beyond. Change Makers are thought leaders and doers—people driving impact through social, corporate and philanthropic efforts.

A Change Maker is an individual ages 18–40 in the Greater Omaha area who recognizes the need for change and actively works to make it happen.

She is also the founder of The Sooner, The Better, an online community for what she calls First Gen Emotionally Mature Adults aka people liberating their families from unhealthy mental and emotional patterns using her simple, research-backed processes.

As founder of Sunflower Advisors, Amy Bodenner guides entrepreneurs and teams to greater clarity, accountability, and purpose. As a speaker and leadership coach, she specializes in helping professionals connect who they are to how they lead. In her keynote, “Bold Moves, Big Impact: Living Aligned, Leading with Courage,” Amy shares three actionable takeaways for identifying your core values, setting boundaries that protect them, and creating authentic influence in your workplace and community. Her sessions inspire practical boldness and the confidence to live and lead with conviction.

Natalie Micale

Natalie Micale is a former Nebraska TV anchor turned founder, strategist, and speaker passionate about the intersection of wellness, creativity, and leadership. She’s led exponential growth for marketing agencies including Evol Empire and most recently founded Oh Hello Agency, which was acquired by Sentral Media Group in 2025. Now, she’s launched Act II, a wellness experiential brand designed to spark movement, joy, and wellbeing. Through curated experiences and private workshops, Natalie helps people unlock more energy, original thinking, and human edge. She is also a 2026 lululemon Omaha Ambassador and a sought-after voice on wellness as a creativity practice.

Brandee CollinsBrandee Alexander, MPA, is a seasoned nonprofit leader, prevention strategist, and community builder with over 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, equity-centered programming, and high-impact training. Currently the Director of Prevention at MOCSA (Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault), she leads initiatives that foster resilience, safety, and empowerment across diverse communities in Kansas and Missouri. Brandee specializes in helping individuals and teams translate fear into forward motion — whether launching bold ideas, navigating professional pivots, or reimagining their role in the community. Her approach blends storytelling, science, and soul, drawing from her deep expertise in behavioral health, nonprofit management, and cultural awareness. An Advanced Certified Nonprofit Professional and sought-after facilitator, Brandee has led major organizational change, built high-performing teams, and launched a thriving consulting practice supporting entrepreneurs and mission-driven projects. Her voice is trusted in boardrooms, classrooms, and grassroots spaces alike. She holds an MPA in Nonprofit Management and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Interdisciplinary Leadership at Creighton University.

Becky Phipps

Becky Phipps is a powerful professional speaker and author, and former educator with three decades of corporate experience. A master connector, strategic thinker, and champion for others, she draws on her experience with Mastercard, Travelex, and AAA Nebraska to guide entrepreneurs, mentor young professionals, and deliver keynotes & corporate workshops.  She shares energy and wisdom in her memoir, Reflections on Life, Love, and Lessons Learned at the Pool, a story built on life and legacy. After all, she’s known for leading by example and for showing that vulnerability is strength, storytelling is power, and growth happens where it’s least expected.

Ryan CurtisRyan Curtis is a powerhouse in the A/E/C industry—an award-winning speaker, author, and leadership catalyst who’s energized audiences coast to coast. Known for igniting teams and elevating emerging leaders, Ryan blends technical expertise with bold vision. He’s earned national recognition from UNL College of Engineering, Structural Engineering Magazine, and was named one of Omaha’s Ten Outstanding Young Professionals. A proud Omaha native, Ryan is a father of five, marathoner, musician, photographer, and coffee-fueled sauna enthusiast. Whether on stage or in the field, Ryan brings relentless passion, sharp insight, and contagious energy that inspires the next generation to lead boldly.

Krystal Rider

Krystal Rider is the President of the Omaha Data Science Academy, where she leads efforts to expand access to high-demand careers in data, artificial intelligence, and technology. Under her leadership, ODSA has achieved state accreditation, launched new AI and data programs, and built strong employer partnerships that drive workforce innovation across Nebraska. Passionate about the intersection of technology and opportunity, Krystal empowers young professionals to embrace data literacy, leverage AI for career growth, and make bold moves that position them for success in a rapidly evolving world.

Isabelle Fleming

Isabelle is a design and community engagement professional from Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Creighton University with a degree in Art History & Economics and finds her niche to be at the intersection of people-centered planning and creative communications. Deeply invested in arts and culture, Isabelle currently serves on the Joslyn Art Museum’s Young Advocates Leadership Committee and Omaha Fringe Festival Board. She integrates her love of the arts and community development in her work at Omaha by Design and recently graduated from the Nonprofit Association of the Midland’s Rising Leaders Institute.

Audri Marie Saylors

Audri Marie Saylors is a speaker, founder, retreat director, and women’s wellness leader with more than 15 years of experience in the wellness and fitness space. In April 2026, she will open Altar Studios in La Vista, a new space devoted to connection, growth, and whole-person wellbeing. She is also the creator of Mariposa Rising, a transformational retreat experience blending functional wellness, creativity, and community. Known for her grounded presence and heartfelt leadership, Audri helps women step into greater confidence, clarity, and joy. She is an Omaha Inspire Award recipient recognized for uplifting, uniting, and championing women.

Andrea Fredrickson

Andrea Fredrickson is a thought leader and consultant at Revela, an organization based in Omaha, Nebraska, specializing in the development of leaders, healthy cultures, and business strategy for private and family businesses of all sizes. Revela is one of the region’s most experienced thought challengers, helping individuals and companies find their greatness. Andrea has built an amazing team by believing that fundamentally, people want to be successful and become better versions of themselves.

Tina Schwahn

Tina Schwahn is a Certified Personal Stylist, transformational speaker, and founder of Real Style | Real Life. She empowers high-achieving women to express who they are and claim the space they deserve, starting with personal style. With a background in corporate leadership, education, and creative entrepreneurship, Tina brings a unique, holistic approach to growth and reinvention. Her sessions blend mindset, strategy, and personal presence to drive bold, lasting impact. Her signature message: “Style isn’t superficial. It’s strategic.”

Meghan Hayes

Meghan “Coach MegS” Hayes is the powerhouse behind LiVE iT FWD Coaching™, where she helps women 30+ break free from the exhausting start-over cycle and finally build lasting strength, confidence, and balance. With over 20 years in fitness, nutrition, and wellness coaching — plus certifications in Nutrition Education, Behavior Change, and Moderation365 Nutrition — MegS blends science with real-life strategies that actually fit busy lives. As a speaker, she brings high energy, authenticity, and real-talk motivation, leaving audiences empowered with practical tools and the reminder they are always strong enough to start.

Jenna Smith

Jenna Smith is a Professional Disruptor, Transformation consultant, and founder of ThinkFree Consulting, where she helps Fortune 50 to mid-market companies break free from status quo thinking and prepare for the future of work. She has led transformations and trained leaders at organizations like Microsoft, Clorox and Amtrak on how to disrupt the status quo and build the future. Jenna is also the co-founder of The Commonwealth, a regional entrepreneurial ecosystem for the underdogs. She brings bold, practical strategies that equip leaders to thrive in disruptive times.

Ayden Johnson

Ayden grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska, and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder. He began my planning career with the City of Lincoln and later moved into a long-range planning role with the City of Omaha. He enjoys traveling and finding inspiration from other cities, including ideas he is excited to bring back and apply to Omaha.

Ambe White

Dr. Ambe White has over 25 years of experience in higher education, corporate America, non-profits, leadership and HR. She founded the Inclusion Alliance and Black Student Union, served as an Academic Dean, and is a TEDx speaker and college professor. Dr. Ambe holds degrees from Lincoln University, University of Kansas, Webster University, and the University of Cumberlands. As a consultant and motivational speaker, she focuses on resilience, empowerment, and leadership development, tailoring programs to client needs.  Her company, Dr Ambe The Consultant LLC, is known for Building Resilience and Igniting Purpose. 

Maggie Knight

Maggie Knight is an Associate Professor of Accounting, the Director of the Master of Accounting Program, and Chair of the Accounting department at Creighton University. She also serves as Board member and Audit Committee Chair for Exodus Movement, Inc., a publicly traded Bitcoin and crypto wallet. She earned her doctorate at Creighton University in 2018 and her research focuses on managing people in the accounting profession. Up until August 2016, she served as chief financial officer for the primary and specialty care networks of physicians in CHI Health, serving over 800 providers and 140 locations. Prior to her time with CHI Health, Maggie spent seven years in public accounting, six of those years with KPMG, where she served healthcare clients throughout the Midwest.

Cleo Zagurski

Cleo Zagurski is a passionate advocate for health equity, reproductive justice, and civic engagement in Nebraska. She serves as the Policy Fellow and Lobbyist with the Reproductive Health Collaborative Nebraska, as the Director of Policy and Research for NEw Voices, and as the Director of Operations for Heartland Future Fund PAC. Cleo’s work spans academic research, community organizing, and policy advocacy, with a focus on expanding healthcare access and empowering fellow young leaders. She is pursuing her Master of Public Administration at the University of Nebraska Omaha and remains dedicated to building a more just and inclusive future.

Do I have to be a young professional to attend?

Not at all. The Summit offers something for everyone—whether you’re a young professional, you support or manage them, or you just want a day of inspiration and connection.

Parking is available at CHI Health Center Omaha in Lots D & B for $10. Parking attendants will take cash or credit. You can see a parking map and directions on their website.

Take advantage of Omaha Metro public transit for an easy, cost-effective way to get to CHI Health Center Omaha. You can also consider rideshare services, carpooling with colleagues or friends, or bike and scooter rentals through Heartland B-cycle and Lime Scooters.

During general sessions, there will be round-table seating.

  • If your company is a sponsor, your table will be reserved. Check out the floorplans on the day of the event – find your company’s name and assigned table number. This will be your company’s assigned table throughout the day. Not sure if your company is a sponsor? Check with the individual who purchased your ticket to find out.
  • If you purchased a single ticket, you will sit in open seating. Find tables marked open seating. These seats are first-come, first-served, and you may not have the same seat all day.
  • If you purchased a VIP ticket, your seat will be reserved. Check out the floorplan on the day of the event and find the VIP tables.

During breakout sessions, seating will be theater-style. No seats will be reserved, and it is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Staff and volunteers will be wearing colorful YP Summit shirts. You can ask any of them for help. We also have an Info Hub that will be staffed all day that you can visit.

During the event, visit the Info Hub. This is where we collect all lost and found items.

After the event, you can email Events@OmahaChamber.org, and we can let you know if we have the item. If we don’t, we can give you contact information for CHI.

Yes. In addition to standard men’s and women’s restrooms, a private all-gender restroom is available at the venue.

Can I register/pay the day of?

No. Pre-registration is required.

Yes, the applications open in December and close in February.

The YP Summit began in 2005 as a conference to celebrate young professionals in our region.
