About Cass County Nebraska Economic Development Council
Our Story
The Cass County Nebraska Economic Development Council (CCNEDC), a 501(c)3 nonprofit membership corporation, was formed on July 13, 2000, with the purpose to promote economic development in Cass County. Funded by public and private sectors, utility partners and the business community, CCNEDC works to attract, retain, and expand businesses to Cass County. In 2009, CCNEDC became the second partner of the Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership. With this partnership, CCNEDC has been able to expand the level of service that we provide throughout Cass County by working side by side with the Partnership’s Client Services, Talent & Workforce, the Reach Program, and Partner County teams.
