REACH Construction Industry Certificate


The REACH Construction Industry Certificate is a comprehensive 10-week course which covers the essential basics every small and emerging construction business needs to know. When you own your own small business, you wear a lot of hats, and REACH ensures you have the tools necessary to do that well. Topics covered include Employment Law & HR, Accounting & Bookkeeping, Construction Law & Contracts, Insurance, Surety Bonding, Print Reading & Specs, Scope Identification & Takeoff, Pricing, Building an Estimate and OSHA & Safety Training.

Program Specifics

  • Meet every Wednesday from 6 – 9 p.m. for a total of 30 hours
  • Register through Metropolitan Community College
  • Course fee of $125

  • Spring Quarter | March – May
  • Summer Quarter | June – August

Attendance Policy

In order to receive the REACH Construction Industry Certificate of Completion, participants must attend all modules in the course. If participants miss any session(s), participants must complete the respective module(s) during the following quarter in order to receive a certificate.


Upon completing all 10 weeks of the course, you may receive 3 CEUs. These credits can be applied towards other certificate and associates programs through Metropolitan Community College.
