CASA Douglas County and Sarpy County

In Douglas County, there are over 1,300 children in foster care. Our vision is to provide a Court Apointed Special Advocate for every child who needs one, and that means we need over 200 more citizens from our community to advocate for these children.

CASA programs recruit, screen, train, and support CASA volunteers to provide individualized attention for these innocent victims and an independent source of information for the judge who must decide their future.

If you want to learn more about becoming a CASA Volunteer, attend CASA Coffees on the first Friday of each month or CASA Cocktails on the third Thursday of each month. To see where the next CASA Coffee or CASA Cocktail will be held, check the calendar on their website or contact the recruitment coordinator.
