Did you catch the awesome, local, YP-owned business that took over our Instagram last month? We had so much fun seeing their content and learning about their business!

Monday

Starting off the week, we learned about Hutch Modern and their sister store, Made in Omaha – a do-it-all duo! Hutch’s focus is around selling modern furnishings and home decor along with a small collection of locally crafted, handmade goods. Not only that, but they also do commercial projects! Their sister store, Made in Omaha, sells handmade items like original arts/prints, candles, shirts, hats, apothecary, and more.

Tuesday

The deliciously amazing Picklemans kicked off our Tuesday. They’ve been locally owned and operated in Nebraska since 2011. What can you find here? Toasted sandwiches, thin crust pizzas, soups, salads, and homemade cookies! Did you know they cater, too?!

Wednesday

EventVesta took over our account Wednesday. They are a local startup who aims to make it easy to find and share events and experiences happening in Omaha. On their website you can find events, activities, digital events, #takeouttuesday options, happy hours, pet friendly activities and more – all in one place!

Thursday

Are #TeaThursday’s your cup of tea? Thursday we heard from Artemis Teas & Botanicals, a retailer and wholesaler of premium organic teas. This woman-owned business operates out of Hardy Coffee Co. in the Old Market and specializes in small-batch, hand-crafted wellness blends that utilize botanicals grown locally by small family farms. One of the biggest aspects of their business? Combating climate change and environmental degradation.

Friday

Rounding out our week was Populum – an Omaha-based online CBD retailer. They feature tested, high-quality Full Spectrum CBD products. Populum was founded in 2016 with a mission to destigmatize hep and create a CBD-inclusive wellness brand. Populum’s unique plant-based remedies are created using ethically-sourced hemp grown in the U.S.

We are so thankful that these local, YP owned, Chamber member businesses helped us launch our first ever Instagram takeover. If you’re interested in being a part of our our next takeover series, please contact us at omahayp@gmail.com.
