Restaurant Depot, the nation’s premier cash and carry food wholesaler, will be opening its brand-new, 55,000 square foot La Vista, Nebraska facility in mid-October.
Restaurant Depot’s cash-and-carry business model allows the company to provide its products at a much lower price point than traditional food delivery services. The company has been in operation for 42 years and has facilities in 34 states. The La Vista branch, located at 6920 S 118th Street, will be the 131st location (the first in Nebraska) for the rapidly expanding organization and is expected to bring 35-45 new jobs to the community. With an expected opening of October 10th 2018, this widely anticipated location will offer a broad selection of products from fresh produce to kitchen equipment for independent restaurants, caterers and non-profits.
Branch manager Byron Thompson says “Construction is on track and we are more than ready for this opening in October. We can’t wait to get started helping all these great area businesses get control of their food—and supply—costs. Too many small businesses have to battle with hefty minimum order requirements and delivery fees.
