Blue Oceans Float is teaming up with the 4 other float shops of Omaha to host an event entirely unheard of in the Midwest! It’s the first of it’s kind here, a combination of creativity and floating. We’re inviting 105 artists to float 3 times at a designated float shop in Omaha and create a piece of artwork based on their floating experience. At the beginning of June, we will showcase the artwork in a grand art exhibition, benefit auction, and float symposium. For half a day, speakers will talk about the world of floating, the benefits to the mind, body, emotions & soul, the pieces of artwork that came from this unlimited world of creativity, and share the fortune with the community.
We’re inviting artists from all over the Omaha and metro area to partake, and we’re NOW accepting applications. You can stay up to date with the latest news on this unique project through our facebook page. The project is titled Inspirations of Water: A Floating Artist Project. The proceeds from the art benefit auction will return to the art community, the artists, and be used to cover the publishing of a book based on the project.
We hope to inspire artists and the community of Omaha to seek out new and unique ways for healing, feeling happy, and expanding their minds.
