Small Business Day: A Megaphone for Small Business Owners

Wednesday April 12,2017

As a small business owner and driver of the economy, your voice is crucial. Here’s your chance to amplify it.

Plan to spend a morning at the state capitol on Wednesday, April 12, for this year’s Small Business Day, Nebraska’s premiere legislative program for small businesses.

  • Learn about key legislative “hot button” issues that will impact Nebraska's small businesses, including property tax relief, unemployment insurance reform and workers compensation reform
  • Ask our state senators about issues ranging from taxes and health care to the state budget.
  • Voice your opinion on what’s important to you and your business.

This year’s keynote speaker is Gov. Pete Ricketts. The program begins with registration at 9:15 a.m. and adjourns at 12:30 p.m.  The cost is $20.00/per person, which covers the cost of materials and lunch.
