Heartland Work Ready Community Initiative

The goal: Identify and develop a pool of quality workers for companies that struggle with high-turnover rates.

We want Greater Omaha to become a Heartland Work Ready Community – and we need your help to make it happen.

Join us as we detail the benefits of this bold new initiative, spearheaded by Heartland Workforce Solutions, to close skills gaps, align jobs to the right individuals and develop a competitive advantage for our region.

In order to become a Work Ready Community, we need 300 businesses to recognize the Heartland Work Ready Initiative and National Career Ready Certificate (NCRC) testing.

By participating in the initiative, your company will know exactly what foundational skills you need for a productive workforce – and connect most efficiently with job seekers who possess those very skills.

Learn more and help us realize our multi-beneficial goal of becoming a Heartland Work Ready Community.
