Heineman&lt;/a&gt; for more information.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;hr /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;House Votes to Block Debt Increase &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The US House voted Wednesday to block a $1.2 trillion in the national debt ceiling on vote of 239-176-2. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Under the spending/debt agreement reached in 2011, if the Senate follows the House in approving this measure, the President can veto it, thus granting the increase in borrowing capacity. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Overriding a presidential veto requires 290 votes in the House and 67 in the Senate. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Small Business and Health Care Law&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Small business owners should find this recent Wall Street Journal article helpful as they seek understanding of how national health care policy affects them.
