Boss & Co. offers this incredible opportunity to meet other leaders of companies.”

Jamie Gutierrez, CEO at Midwest Maintenance, has a message for her colleagues in leadership positions:

Get on the Boss & Co. bandwagon.

“I am amazed at how great the content is,” she says. “I would like to see the attendance at these meetings double or triple – it’s just so valuable.”

Boss & Co., which is open to all presidents/CEOs and their potential successors, is specifically-designed to:

  • Connect and elevate a growing number of visionary leaders
  • Address challenges you and your peers face
  • Expand your knowledge of the community

2018 themes, so far, have explored innovation and communication. The latter drew on the expertise and experience of guest speakers Don Browers, an independent media consultant, and Rose Ann Shannon, retired KETV News Director. They addressed pitfalls to avoid when communicating with the media and how to launch a media response in a crisis situation.

“I don’t think any president or CEO should live without the information they gave out that day,” Gutierrez says. “If I would have had a consulting meeting with those two people, that probably would have been a $2,000 expense.”

The next Boss & Co. breakfast event is coming up on Friday, Nov. 2. The focus is talent.

“I love this program, and I want to see 100 people there,” Gutierrez says.

“There is no reason why presidents and other leaders shouldn’t be getting this amazing information.”

The goal is more insight, more impact and more accessibility for those who lead. There is no annual membership fee to participate. You pay only for the events you choose to attend and, as an added bonus, gain access to local hot spots and hidden gems.

“Meetings are held at different places I’ve never been before like Do Space. That was fantastic,” Gutierrez says.
