Omaha Convention & Visitor's Bureau

Showcasing All That Omaha Has To Offer

From corporate gatherings to family reunions, 10 people to 10,000, the primary focus of Omaha Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB) is to present Omaha as a dynamic city for both business and vacation travelers. A division of the City of Omaha, the OCVB works closely with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce in its efforts to showcase Omaha’s many attractions and benefits.

Through a variety of electronic and print media, the OCVB provides information regarding accommodations, convention facilities, activities and maps. The annual Visitors Guide lists lodging, arts and entertainment venues, dining and nightlife choices, shopping, sports and recreation sites and other attractions.

In addition, the OCVB maintains a large library of items available to groups planning tours, meetings or conventions. Through the partnership with the Chamber, the OCVB shares a large digital photo library that helps both divisions promote the city’s many attractions and businesses. These photos are used in brochures, newsletters and other communications, maintaining consistency in their promotional efforts.

The OCVB assists with convention services for gatherings of all sizes and lengths of time. The Bureau also provides out-of-town media with information and images of Omaha.

The Greater Omaha Film Commission, an arm of the OCVB, works with producers and directors who want to shoot on location in the city and surrounding area.
