Novozymes Initial Construction
Novozymes to build $80 million to $100 million production facility in Blair

A world leader in bioinnovation, Novozymes, has selected Blair as the location for its new production facility bringing approximately 100 new jobs to the state initially. The facility will produce enzymes for existing corn-based ethanol and later enzymes for cellulosic ethanol production. View the news release and the fact sheet.

David G. Brown, president and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce said, "This is one of the most exciting investment and jobs announcements we've had in recent years."
